Maureen Fuchs Obituary

Maureen Fuchs of West Chester Maureen Fuchs (nee, Kudrewicz), 61, of West Chester passed away on January 26, 2012, peacefully at her home. Born in Newark, N.J. in 1950, Maureen is the daughter of Sylvia (Nee, Kotinsly) and the late Joseph Kudrewicz. She graduated from Piscataway High School and from Villanova University where she received her degree as a registered nurse. She earned her M.B.A. from Widener University. Maureen worked in nursing in various places in Chester County as well as Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Graduate Hospital. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Richard J. Fuchs, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage, her brothers, Joseph Kudrewicz (Cynthia) and Michael Kudrewicz (Joann), her brother-in-law, Raymond Fuchs (Kathleen) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Maryann Anthony. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, followed by her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Blue Bell, PA 19422 or to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
