It´s interesting that this post just appeared in my email. Betsy and I were driving down 202 outside of West Chester a few days ago and I thought about Mike and Cathy, wondering if Cathy still was living in the home, and wondering if Mike ever finished those floors. He was so meticulous. God works in mysterious ways bringing memories of Mike to me at this time. I´ve said a special prayer for his family today because I´m sure they miss him, but also know that God blessed them all with many good memories. George and Betsy Kissell

I still often think of Mike. He was such a great co-worker. Always positive and enthusiastic. We had so much fun on our recruiting trips for Lukens. I’ll never forget worrying about getting into trouble because he booked us into the Plaza Hotel in NYC for a recruiting trip. But it didn’t bother Mike. He just laughed in typical fashion. I’m sure his family deeply misses him. He was way to young to leave this world but he’s in Heaven looking down on his family.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Mike's passing. I had the pleasure to work with Mike at Rexnord. I made a trip in February to Milwaukee with him for training and it was cold and snowing. He got up each day and heated up the car before myself and the other person with us got in it. Also every trip he made to our facility in New Orleans he always took the time to walk around in our shop and ask about the employee's family. If someone was having a problem he would remember to ask them about it on his next visit. I could go on for a while about how wonderful he was but the best way that I describe Mike is that he was a true gentlemen and one of the "Good Guys".

Mike will always hold a special place in the hearts of the Pyrah family members. He orchestrated my dad's transfer from the Rexnord plant in Markham, Ontario to Philadelphia, and made sure that our move from Canada to the USA was seamless. My mom and dad and I are now American citizens because of Mike's efforts that helped us through the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization process. We miss him.

I worked with Mike at Lukens and he was so much fun to be around. He had a wonderful sense of humor and we have often thought about him and Cathy over the years. Betsy and I often wondered if he ever finished the floors in the house because he was so meticulous and described how he would clean the grooves in the floor. We still talk about our work trip to DC and our wonderful dinner with Mike and Cathy at La Nicoise where our son Patrick who was 18 months old saw Darth Vader during the cabaret show. Our prayers go out to his family who he loved dearly. We know he will be missed by all.
