Patricia McIlvain St. Georges

Patricia McIlvain St. Georges, 80, of Glenmoore, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. St. Georges, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2020. Born in Downingtown on February 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late J. Gibson McIlvain and Anne Stone McIlvain. Trish attended The Shipley School and then received her bachelor’s degree from Duke University School of Nursing. She later earned her master’s degree. She worked in the Pottsgrove School District for 27 Years as a school nurse. She lived in East Nantmeal Township and was very active in her community. She was a board member of East Nantmeal Land Trust and was elected to serve as an East Nantmeal Township Official. Recently, she was recognized for her efforts with the East Nantmeal Land Trusts with a plaque that hangs in the township building. She is survived by her children, James M. Ruffing of Rockville, MD and Anne R. Liskey of Weyers Cave, VA; her step-children, Aimee G. St. Georges of Lagunitas, CA, Lynn T. St. Georges of Beaverton, OR, Mark A. St Georges of Fremont, CA and Melanie E. St. Georges of Albuquerque, NM; her step-daughter-in-law, Wendy Faxon of Oxford, Md and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her step-son, Philip M. St. Georges. A gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Downingtown Friends Meeting, 800 E.
