Scotty...I never had the honor of meeting you or the chance to help you see that there is bueaty and love on this Earth. I'm sorry that you suffered beyond measure physically and in your soul. Even though I haven't met you, I still shed tears at the site of your picture or the thought of what you and Ryan endured. I haven't been the same since I first heard your story. Over six months later and I still think of you every day. I can't imagine the heartache that your loved ones feel at these tragic circumstances. I'm thankful that your big brother escaped that horrid fate and I am praying that God heals his heart and soul as he has witnessed horrors that we can't even fathom. And Ryan, if you ever get a chance to read this....
Please know that there was nothing you could have done to save your brother. Both of you were victims and neither of you deserved even an ounce of this pain. I am praying for you....sweet Ryan.
I lift you up to the Lord that he might heal your broken spirit.
