Yvonne N. Leaphart

Yvonne N. Leaphart of Coatesville Yvonne N. Leaphart, 81, of Coatesville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 at Hickory House Nursing Home, Honeybrook. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late John Hicks and Olga "Pinkie" Bailey and the wife of Earl E. Leaphart of Coatesville. She attended Coatesville Area Schools and worked as a nurse's assistant at the Coatesville VAMC for 30 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Janet Bailey (Coleman) of Coatesville and one son, Stanley Bailey (Alexandra) of Killeen, Texas; two brothers, Rev. Frederick Hicks of Coatesville and Alfred Hicks of Parkesburg; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by one sister, Shirley McCain and one brother, John Hicks. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 819 Coates Street, Coatesville, PA 19320.
