Amy Cain Obituary

Amy Elizabeth Cain, 51, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at her home in Southaven, MS.

She was born on January 28, 1973 to Roy and Mickey Cain in Memphis, TN. Amy was a cherished member of the St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Southaven, Mississippi. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, enjoying heartfelt conversations over the phone and the excitement of camping adventures, particularly those involving rafting. Among her favorite pastimes were playing games like Yahtzee with her friends. However, her greatest joy was undoubtedly the time she spent with her loved ones, both friends and family, creating memories.

Amy is preceded in death by her father, Roy Cain, and her grandparents: Walter and Tina Motta, and TC and Ruth Cain. She leaves behind her mother, Mickey Motta Cain; her husband, Randall Scott Vanlandingham; her daughter, Emma Grace Eads, and two siblings, Julie LaChance (Adrian Garza) and Sharon Moura (Vernon).

A memorial service will be on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 8245 Getwell Rd. Southaven, MS 38672.
