Andrew Platkin Obituary
Andrew was a graduate of Ridgeway High School and later Indiana University, where he continued his education and received his master's degree in from the Kelly School of Business. While at IU, Andrew was a member of the Sigma Alpha Mu (Sammy) Fraternity. Andrew was employed by Beehive INC, where he was the Chief Technical Officer.
Andrew is survived by his Parents, Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Blockman and Mrs. Myrna Platkin, Aunts, Denise Platkin Rubenstein, Terilyn Blockman, Laurie D. Platkin and Patrice Evensky. He also leaves his many Sammy Fraternity Brothers. He was proceeded in death by his Grandfather Dr Alan B Platkin.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4th at Baron Hirsch Cemetery, Memphis Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Andrew Louis Platkin Memorial Fund at the Bornblum School, 6641 Humphrey Blvd Memphis, TN 38120, online at Bornblum.org. or the charity of choice.

Our family was devastating to hear about Andrew's death. He grew up to be a fine young man, but for us, he will always be the smiling little boy who was Aaron's best friend in pre-school. Our prayers are with his family.

I have absolutely no words. I am so sorry and wish I could have been there with you in this time of need. Lena and I have such fond memories of not only Andrew , but your whole family. Andrew was such a good, wholesome kid. I wish there was something we could say or do to ease the pain of the family. I am truly sorry.
