Cesar Octavio Zamora Freyre was born on May 22, 1958 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico son of Juan Zamora & Josefina Freyre and five siblings. He graduated with a Master's degree from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac in 1984. He married Maria Yolanda Guerrero, his 7 year sweetheart on November 15, 1985. They had their first and only daughter Alexis in 1987. He worked as a chief financial officer at a major company in Guadalajara for years and enjoyed traveling. After moving to Memphis, Tn he began working in landscaping, something he never imagined doing but did it to support his family for many years. He established his relationship with Christ during a Cursillo Movement in Memphis, and Cursillo is what changed his life and the lives of his wife and daughter for the better.

His wife and daughter remember his tremendous willpower, work ethic, charisma in conversation, and firm faith in God. Along with being a playful and loving grandfather to Mauricio, Vania, Cesar, and Gema.

He was an active and devout member of Resurrection Catholic Church. Often volunteered at countless retreats and anywhere God called him. He will truly be missed by many.

Cesar's visitation is scheduled for Monday October 28 from 6-7pm at St. Michael Catholic Church with mass immediately after.
