Charlotte Eaheart Hicks Obituary

Charlotte Ann Eaheart Hicks was born on February 2, 1955 in Memphis and died on August 12, 2025. She leaves behind her husband Donald Hicks, a stepson Daniel Hicks, two sisters Susan Eaheart Bunday (Foster) and Betsy Eaheart Moseley (Noell) and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul Baird Eaheart and Martha Daniel Eaheart and by a stepson David Hicks.

Charlotte's love of the Lord and her musical talent combined to make her a gifted church musician. She served as music director for several churches in the Memphis area, including Raleigh Presbyterian and, most recently Grace Presbyterian.

Charlotte was a teacher who loved her students and loved helping them learn. Some people are born to teach, and she certainly was. She taught for many years at Brighton Elementary School.

Charlotte graduated from White Station High School and received bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Memphis. She was a member of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians and the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2025, 5:00-7:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis TN 38119. The memorial service will be Friday, August 22, 2025, 6:00PM at Grace Presbyterian Church, 6671 Yale Road, Bartlett TN 38134.
