David Perez Torres, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee.
Born in Eola, Texas, to the late Benito and Elvira Perez Torres, David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was employed with Longtown Gin for 25 years, where his hard work and dedication were well respected.
David is survived by his loving wife, Hope Deanda; four daughters, Gracie Salazar, Bertha Garcia, Audrey Deanda, and Meggan Torres; seven sons, David Torres, Jr., Arthur Torres, Robert Torres, Rudy Torres, Ray Torres, Quentin Torres Hoyle, and Marcus Torres; one sister, Celia Aguero; one brother, Victor Torres; 33 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Elvira Torres, and his grandchild, Andres Torres.
David will be remembered for his love of gardening, the outdoors, and working on vehicles. Above all, he will be cherished as a faithful man of God who devoted his life to his family and faith.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Peebles Funeral West Chapel in Oakland, Tennessee. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the chapel prior to the service.
David's memory will live on through the love he shared and the lives he touched.
