James Brazile Obituary

James Ray Brazile (Jimmy) went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2025. He was born on April 16,1945 in Earle, Arkansas. James was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family and always enjoyed biking with his grandchildren. He ran two marathons in his life, enjoyed fishing, and watching his all-time favorite baseball team, The St. Louis Cardinals. He had a passion for golfing and was considered a lifelong golfer (3 holes-in-one). He performed as a comedian named "Stumpweed", making many people smile and laugh. James was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Essie Mae Brazile of Earle, Arkansas; and brother, Curtis Brazile of Tupelo, Mississippi. James leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Brenda Brazile; son, Stuart (Joellyn) Brazile of Collierville, Tennessee; stepson, Brian Cates of Coldwater, Mississippi; sister, Judy Davis of Wynne, Arkansas; brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Brazile of West Memphis, Arkansas; grandchildren, Benjamin Brazile, Evan Brazile, Tayler Bowley, Aidan Cates, Drake Cates; great-grandchildren, Sloane Bowley and Saige Bowley. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts.
