Jeanette Woodward Obituary
She was born May 24, 1926, in Memphis, Tennessee to Robert Arthur Currie and Linnye Trobaugh Currie. She graduated from Humes High School. She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church and retired from the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Coy Oxley Woodward; brother, Robert Daniel Currie. She is survived by her three daughters, Jean Boyd (Newton "Buddy"), Joyce Woodward, and Janie Duncan (Russell); three grandchildren, Elaine Twisdale (Keith), Grace Clarkson (Jake), and Ashely Riley (James); seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 2 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 3 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home prior to graveside services, beginning at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to Leawood Baptist Church.
