Judy Watson Obituary

Judy Louise Watson, 72, of Bartlett, Tennessee, beloved mother, devoted wife, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on October 19, 2025. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, on September 17, 1953, Judy embraced life with warmth and an open heart. She will be remembered for the immeasurable love and support she poured into her family. Judy often said the birth of her children changed her life for the better, a sentiment her children felt deeply in every action she took. She is survived by the love of her life, her devoted husband, Randall K. Watson. Together, they lovingly raised their five children, her ultimate pride and joy: Denise Buchanan, Patty (Mark) Guttensohn, Austin (Morgan) Watson, Cole Watson, and Ashley (David) Hasting. Judy's legacy of love continues through her cherished grandchildren, Allyson, Gracie, Axel, and Atlas, and her great-grandchildren, Braydon and Aria. Judy is also survived by her mother-in-law, Beatrice Joyce Watson; her sister, Lois Riggs; her brothers in-law, Jason (Rebecca) Watson and Darin (Ardella) Watson; and several nieces and nephews who will never forget the joy she brought to their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertin and Louise Lawson; her father-in-law, Thomas Watson, her brother, Bobbie Lawson, and her sister, Stella Lenox. The family will honor Judy's life with a private farewell. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider a donation in Judy's name to the City of Bartlett Animal Shelter
