Karen Lynn Kincaid Wood

Karen Lynn Kincaid Wood, of Memphis, TN, passed away at home on October 29, 2025. She was 71 years old.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah, and son-in-law, Eric Tew, of Hartsville, SC; and her step-son, Joshua, and daughter-in-law, Josey Wood, of Memphis, TN. Karen is also survived by her grandchildren, Savannah, Stella, Jett, and Indi.

She leaves her sister-in-law, Lucy Kincaid; niece, Heather Kincaid; and nephews, John "Bean" Kincaid of Florida and John Kincaid of North Carolina. She also loved and enjoyed her many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Karen was a force of nature, and throughout her lifetime, she was blessed with many experiences and traveled extensively. She was quick-witted, big-hearted, and cussed like a sailor. In her heyday, her sense of style surpassed that of a movie star. She was a huge fan of Jimmy Buffett, Stevie Nicks, and Tom Petty.

She loved her husband, Bobby Wood, with all of her heart and devoted herself to caring for him. She missed him dearly when he passed. She cared deeply about keeping the memory of her brothers, Chuck and Mark Kincaid, alive and frequently shared stories about them.

Karen had an affinity for making anything fun and absolutely refused to be bored at any point in this life. She could spin a fantastic tale out of anything. She will leave a place in this world unfillable by any other - and that is exactly how she would want it.
