Kristin Elaine Murley, age 36, resident of Eads, Tennessee, departed this life Tuesday evening, September 23, 2025, at her home.
Kristin was born October 26, 1988, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Jerry Eugene Murley and Janet Lynn Ritchie. She graduated from Cordova High School in 2007, attended the University of Memphis.
Kristin was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed watching the Florida Gators, Dallas Cowboys and Memphis Grizzlies. She also enjoyed taking trips to the beach, loved to make people laugh, and enjoyed gathering with friends and family to have meals.
Ms. Murley is survived by her son, Grayson Ables of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her parents, Janet Ritchie of Eads, Tennessee and Jerry Murley of Maumelle, Arkansas; her bonus mom, Mary Clenney of Milan, Tennessee and her bonus dad, Hollis Clenney of Milan, Tennessee. She is also survived by 3 sisters: Rachel Rector of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Allie Murley of Milan, Tennessee, and Emma Murley of Oxford, Mississippi; and 1 brother, J. J. Murley of Oxford, Mississippi; her grandparents, Cathy Ritchie of Memphis, Tennessee and Jean Murley of Maumelle, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur Ritchie and H. T. Murley.
A celebration of life for Ms. Murley was Friday afternoon, October 3, 2025, at 1 P.M. at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland and Pastor Jimmy Harris officiated. A visitation for Ms. Murley was from 12 to 1 P.M., Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Interment for Ms. Murley was private.
