Pattie Henson Obituary
Renea was born April 9, 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late James Herman Joyner and Patsy Ann Holmes Joyner. She graduated from Collierville High School in 1980 and was a homemaker throughout her life. Renea was married April 5, 2008 to Jesse Henson who preceded her in death. She was a member of Kirk Baptist Church near Collierville and was a caregiver to many people. Renea loved animals, traveling on motorcycles and going to garage and estate sales.
Mrs. Henson is survived by two sons, Shane Causie (Joann) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Brent Causie (Karen) of Eads, TN; her sister, Pam Poole (Ricky) of Coldwater, MS; six grandchildren, Jacob, Adam, Ethan, Gracie, Carter and Tyler; and one great-grandchild on the way. She also leaves her beloved pets, Ruby, Jax and Beaux.
A visitation for Mrs. Henson will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Memorial Services will be at 2 P.M. Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Pastor Stephen Watkins of Lynn Oak Baptist Church in Clarkton, Missouri, officiating.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Collierville Animal Shelter, 603 E. South Street, Collierville, TN 38017 or St. Jude’s Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
