Robert Brown Obituary

Robert J Brown, 83, peacefully passed away on 10/16/25 at the Veteran's Administration Home in Oxford, MS. Sergeant Brown proudly served the Army's elite 101st Airborne during the Vietnam war. Bronze Star with valor recipient for his heroic actions while in combat. Also, Bob took great honor in serving his community. Volunteering on the Sheriff's Department for 10 years, took steps to facilitate a new Boy Scout post in their town for his first grandson, and was always happy to participate in any golf tournament. Bob found great joy in sharing his fascinating stories with family and friends. For 42 years his heart belonged to his wife, Patricia. Combined they had 6 children, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. In addition survived by his brother, sister, and two nephews. Memorial Service will be at Lifepoint Church in Senatobia, Friday at 11am. In lieu of flowers please donate to Veterans Administration in memory and honor of Bob and all who serve our country.
