Ruby Gadd Obituary

Ruby Jean Gadd (Minor) of Memphis, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Ruby was born July 10, 1933 to the late Earnest and Earline Minor. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Gary Gadd, and her two children, Lisa Broyles (Robby Broyles) and Gary Gadd, Jr. She also leaves behind three siblings (Jimmy Minor, Elsie Broyles, Opal Wilkerson), granddaughter Misty Caldwell, and great-grandchildren Dain and Rory Caldwell. She was proceeded in death by siblings Bruce and Johnnie Minor. If there's one word to describe Ruby, it would be vivacious. She was full of life, loved to shop and never met a stranger. She was a crossing guard for the Memphis Police Dept. for over 30 years. She also worked at Sears and St. Peter Villa. She loved the Lord and was a member of Pilgrims Hope Baptist Church. She was adored by many and will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
