Stephen White Obituary
Stephen Alan White, age 69, passed away on July 24th, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 25th, 1954 to Judy and M.C White in Memphis, Tennessee. Steve brought immense entertainment to those around him.
Steve's journey was full of fun, excitement, and especially laughter. Steve leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of strong will and resilience. Steve was a long time DJ and had an unwavering love for music. He recently retired from Shelby County Government working as a carpenter for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Judy and M.C. White, his two brothers Kevin and Mike White. Steve is survived by his daughters Shana Marx (Ryan), Dayna Crawford (David), 3 granddaughters Brea Marx, Bella Crawford, Luella Crawford, and 1 grandson Liam Crawford. His siblings, sister Marsha Brown of Somerville, TN, brother Tommy White of Henderson, AR. As well as a niece and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to honor and celebrate Steve's life will be at 2:00pm on Monday, July 29th, 2024 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN 38133. Pallbearers are Ryan Marx, Tommy White, Wayne Hepburn, Ronnie Hollie, and Ron Olsen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Methodist North Hospital or Baptist Hospice Residence (Collierville, TN) in memory of Steve White.
