In the spring of 1968, I pulled the door to Memphis Title open a little too hard and it banged against the glass, which is when I first saw Susan Black who was looking at me like I'd lost my mind. We became fast friends from that moment forward. She and I enjoyed many escapades and just quiet days at her home on Prescott. Although we lost touch after 1973, we regained contact in 1990 and then in the last 10 or so years talked and had lunch together. I am saddened at her unexpected death and will truly miss being able to chat and laugh with her. My sincere condolences to Alan, Bobby, Larry, and Andrew and their families in the loss of Susan.
