Thomas DeWayne "Tommy" Hill Sr.

Thomas "Tommy" DeWayne Hill, Sr. February 13, 1958 – August 20, 2025 Thomas "Tommy" DeWayne Hill, Sr., 67, of Memphis, TN, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025 following a courageous battle with cancer. Tommy was born on February 13, 1958. He graduated from Memphis Technical High School in 1976. He retired from CB Richard Ellis in 2023. Tommy is survived by his children, Thomas "DeWayne" (Karen) Hill, Jr. of Bartlett, TN, Mason (Amanda) Hill of Clearwater, FL, and Braxton (Mishell) Hill of West Memphis, AR and six grandchildren: Haley Hill, Jordan Hill, Chloe Hill, Carter Hill, Paisley Hill and Rylee Hill. He is also survived by his two brothers David (Lisa) Hill of Memphis, TN, Mike (Shelia) Allred of Ector, TX and three sisters Beverly York of Jonesboro, AR, Gayle Duke of Tupelo, MS and Renee (Jim) Fowler of Plantersville, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Beverly Hill and Caris "Al" Allred, as well as two brothers James "Jimmy" Hill and Charles "Chuck" Hill. Tommy's life in recent years was a strong testament of resilience. After being diagnosed with liver disease, he received the gift of life through a liver transplant in August 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Mid-South Transplant Foundation (www.midsouthtransplant.org). The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the anonymous donor and their family, whose generosity gave Tommy two more years of cherished life and love.
