Josephine was a loving sister to my Uncle Pat and a loving sister in law to my Aunt Cookie. We would be together for holidays and family functions and as a child I idolized her. She was so beautiful and full of fun. I remember watching the home movies of her wedding to Leonard over and over. I have wonderful memories of her teaching me to do the twist when I was little, of sitting around my Aunt Cookie's table on Thanksgiving having a glass of wine together, of her dancing at my wedding. Even though we were far away we would reach out to one another now and then and kept in touch. We had a connection that when one of us was having a hard time all of a sudden the other would call - just at the right moment. I was so blessed to have Jo in my life and I miss her very much. She was and will always be a beautiful woman who faced the world with great grace, a kind heart and a giving spirit.

I was married to Josephine's nephew Danny. I will miss Josephine dearly. She was a wonderful, sweet person. Even though, I only knew her for a short time, and we lived far away from each other, I could see that she cared for and loved her family and friends very much. I loved her and will miss her talks on the phone very much!
