Mary Alice Rodman Crabtree

Mary Alice Rodman Crabtree grew up on a farm in Iowa and came to Phoenix in 1945 where she met and married Jack Crabtree in 1947. They owned and operated Art Craft Embroidery and Sports Apparel Co. for over 30 years.
Mary was the original designer and seamstress for the Phoenix Suns and her business did the embroidery and silk screening for countless schools, companies, and teams. Mary was a member of Christ Church Lutheran in Phoenix and then for the last twenty plus years a member at American Lutheran Church in Sun City. She loved Jesus and served him faithfully.
She was deeply loved by all her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack. She is survived by her son, Phil and his wife, Nancy and her son, Bill and his wife, Sandy; four grandchildren: Jessica and Justin Crabtree, and Katharine and Rebecca Crabtree; and one great-grandchild, Cloe Crabtree.
Internment is private at Paradise Memorial Gardens and a memorial service will be at American Lutheran Church in Sun City, on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Memorials are welcome to American Lutheran Church.
