Nancy Rholl Obituary
Nancy was predeceased by her husband Gordon O. Rholl of Sun City, AZ in 2010; her father, Wayne Robert Hllburn of Peoria, IL and her mother, Elizabeth (Lee) Hilburn of Peoria, IL.
Nancy is survived by her son, Philip W. Rice, of Ft. Myers, FL; daughter in law, Regina (Owens) Rice, of Ft. Myers, FL; grandchildren, Philip Ray (Nilufar) Rice of Ft. Myers, FL; Amy Elizabeth Magsig of Fort Myers, FL and Carissa Lee (Gregory) Yarnell of Ft. Myers, FL; great grandchildren Askar Rice, Sophia Rice, Luke Magsig, James Magsig, Paul Magsig, Levi Yarnell, Elizabeth Yarnell, Sarah Yarnell, David Yarnell, and Lydia Yarnell; brother, Wayne Russell (Carol) Hilburn of St. Petersburg, FL; nieces, Laura Lynn Hilburn of St. Petersburg, FL and Linda Hilburn (Duncan) McLaren of Loganville, GA.
Nancy is survived by family of her late husband, Gordon Rholl. Her sisters in law, Borghild Gabrielson, of Sun City, AZ and Connie (Lee) Wagoner of Woodinville, WA; brother in law, Arnold (Lois) Rholl of Saint Paul, MN; sons in law Jeff (Alexandra) Rholl of Shoreville, MN, Greg(Barbara) Rholl of Lakeville, MN, and Keith (Cindy) Rholl of Meeker, CO and grandchildren, Kellen Rholl, Carter Rholl, Shawna Levet, Philip Rholl, Hannah Rholl, Kyle Rholl, Dalton Rholl, Elissa McLaughlin, Cody McLaughlin, and Jamie McLaughlin.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL. 33913. Visitation with family for 30 minutes before and following services. Info. 239 334 4880.
A memorial fund has been set up in Nancy's honor. Contributions can be sent to: Nancy L. Rholl Memorial Fund for the Southwest Florida Christian Academy Tennis Program, 3750 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33966. Check can be made out to: SFCA with a footnote to RHOLL TENNIS MEMORIAL.

Just heard of Nancy's "home going" tonight. Our friendship goes back many years, Wayne and Phil and family have my sympathy, however, she has now received her "crown of life" for which we are all waiting anxiously. As a daughter in law through marriage to Gordy,the greatest joy I have experienced in knowing Nancy was in her mothering of me and in her grandmothering of my two sons.Her love was given so freely and love is not a commodity one can receive too much of.I consider her my "mother by choice".

Nancy was part of our family from my first remembrance of family and friends. I always thought she was my cousin because every holiday plus other times our family spent time with her family and celebrated all family occasions. I was so surprised one day to learn we were not related but just close friends. She was in our wedding and was even my sister-in-law at one time. She was a wonderful friend, mother and granny. Nancy's greatgrandchildren, upon realizing she had gone to heaven, said they could just imagine Nancy's arrival. When she sees Jesus she'll call out, "There He is, there He is!!" and do her happy dance. Yes, that sounds like Nancy!! On behalf of the Elephant Club and myself, we extend our condolences to the family of Nancy Rholl, a treasured mainstay of the tennis scene in Sun City, Arizona. I personally feel the loss of this forthright, courageous woman who lightened and brightened many lives and always had a kind word and was a helpmeet to all and sundry. Thank our Lord that He has taken Nancy home and we can look forward to joining her there. Will miss her greatly here but know she is smiling broadly where she is. May you all find strength in loving memories and the promise of our Lord to be together in kingdom.
