Gwendolyn C. Robinson

Gwendolyn C. Robinson, 94, passed away on July 15, 2017, at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, California. She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, to William and Mary Owen and was raised in Long Beach, California, by her adoptive parents, Richard and Louise Jones. She married Virgil C. Robinson in Long Beach, California, in 1943, while he served in the United States Navy. She was a proud daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. No greater love existed. Her warm sense of humor and kindness will forever be remembered. She touched the souls of all who knew her, and her love and faith in the Lord was immeasurable. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California.She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Willgeroth, Beverly's husband, Carl, and her granddaughters Kristin, Julie and Kara, their husbands Drew and Morgan; great-grandchildren Parker, Gwen, Blake, Miller and Callie; her nieces Cathy, Frankie, and Nancy; her friend Annie and her loving caretakers Hiam and Amber. A private family burial service took place at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California.
