Linda D. Webb, 78, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, peacefully surrounded by her family at home. Linda had a deep love for the outdoors. Throughout her life, she worked in numerous floral departments, where she found joy in working with flowers. She was widely recognized for her creativity. She was a follower of Christ of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the Rev. Howard M. Webb Sr.; her younger brother, David Johnson; her parents, Albert and Opal Johnson; and great-granddaughter, Brianna Sky Webb. Left to cherish her many memories are her brother, Michael Johnson (Helen); and her five children, Kimberly Williams, Howard Webb Jr. (DeAnna), Christopher Webb (May), Timothy Webb (Cheryl), and Heather-Marie Webb. Linda had many grandchildren, Benjamin Webb (Misty), Lauren McCrossin (Tristin), Derek Webb, Matthew Webb, Brigitt Moore, Emily Webb, Timothy Webb II (Sidni), Zachary Webb (Cassandra), Dillon Webb, Christi Webb, Tristian Webb, Courtney Webb, Christopher Webb, Hayden Stansell, Connor Webb, and Benjamin (Junior) Webb; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and special doggie friend, Rosie. The pallbearers will be Benjamin Webb, Matthew Webb, Timothy Webb, Zachary Webb, Dillon Webb, Christopher Webb, Hayden Stansell and Connor Webb. A special thanks to the nurses and therapists (Summer) from Encompass Home Health, Amedisys Hospice Care and Dr. Trentham and his staff. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in McMinn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the local food bank. Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
