Adrian TATUM Obituary
Mr. Tatum was born in the Township of Parkersburg, N.C., and a Peninsula resident for 65 years. He retired from Fort Eustis in 1974 after 28 years with the Civil Service at Langley AFB and Fort Eustis Finance and Accounting Department. He was an Army Air Force veteran and former POW. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart and Air Medal. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 13 and the American Legion Post 368.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie and Leonidas Tatum Sr.; two brothers, Leonidas Tatum Jr. and Lowell Tatum and is survived by a niece and two nephews.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at noon Thursday in Albert G. Horton Jr., Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk, Va.
His niece would especially like to thank the Palliative Care Unit at the VA for all their loving care and kindness to her uncle.
Memorials may be sent to the Disabled American Veterans.

I was sorry to hear of Adrian's passing. I put a notice of his passing in the Feb Newsletter for DAV Chapter 13. Your uncle was a friend of mine only for a short time while he stayed at the Gloucester Inn Motel. If you see this, please call the motel.
