We enjoyed knowing Rev Eastman during his time as our Pastor at St. Stephen's UMC. We appreciated the fact that he talked to us during his sermons rather than preaching "at us"!! Our children, Sandra and John were teenagers during his tenure at St. Stephen's. They remember him fondly. He once told us from the pulpit that he had to finish his sermon quickly, because someone had given him tickets to a ballgame which was to be played shortly after church!! We give our deepest condolences to his family. Cherish the wonderful memories and good times you had with him.
Much love in Christ,
Jeanette and Ed Parham

Rev. Eastman was a wonderful pastor for us at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church. One of his most memorable sermons was about "The Music Box." We miss him, but know he's gone on to be with his wife and their son, Phillip.
