Andrew Struzzieri Obituary
Preceded in death by his wife Jane Mary Gilmartin, as well as his parents, Joseph Anthony Struzzieri and Margaret Louise Ryan.
Andy dedicated his life to serving his country in the U.S. Navy, taking care of his family and being a devout Catholic.
An avid sports fan, cheering on the S.F. Giants, N.Y. Mets, NY Giants and Jets.
He leaves to cherish his memory sons, Michael A. Struzzieri (Lisa Julian), Joseph A. Struzzieri (Danette Struzzieri); daughters, Janie P. Struzzieri, and Kelly R. Struzzieri; beloved grandchildren, Brian Struzzieri, Christopher Robb, Joseph A. Struzzieri Jr., Daniel Apollo, Christopher Apollo, Andrew J. Struzzieri II, Julian Lannigan, Tiffany Piekarski, and Lauren Sheppard. As well as 15 great-grandchildren, his brother Francis Louis Struzzieri, nephews; Glenn Burns (Struzzieri), Craig Struzzieri, Brian Struzzieri, Niece Rene Struzzieri-Cooney and their families.
Graveside service accompanied by military honors will be held September 29, 2023, 1pm at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA.
Arrangements were in care of Altmeyer Funeral Home – Denbigh Chapel.
