Charles Blanco Obituary

Blanco, Charles Maurice Charles Maurice Blanco, 64, born July 14, 1940, in Berwick, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at his residence in Bayou Vista. Charles served with Company B of the 256th Army National Guard. He retired from the Morgan City Lab and X-Ray where he worked for 30 years. He loved to play golf, fish, travel and play with his grandchildren. He was a 1963 LSU graduate. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sandra Cloutier Blanco, Bayou Vista; daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Brian Vick, Warner Robins, Ga., and Charlene and Wade Lilly, Baton Rouge; brother, Adam Blanco Jr., Berwick; and three grandchildren, Katie Vick, Jacob Vick and Nathan Lilly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Adam Blanco Sr. and Ardice Ogeron Blanco, Berwick. Visiting at Hargrave Funeral Home, Morgan City, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14. Religious service at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15. The East St. Mary Funeral Squad will conduct full military graveside honors. Interment in Berwick Cemetery.
