I will forever remember papa's hugs and smiles, he has the warmest and most kind heart out of anyone I have ever known, he has been a amazing role model to me and has helped to shape me into who I am today. I'm thankful for every second I spent with him.

I will always thank God for the gift of my brother Charlie. Growing up as his younger brother, I admired Charlie's character and reputation, which followed him all of his life. Even from an early age, Charlie was everybody's best friend and admired by all who came in contact with him. He was always on the right side of everything. Charlie had a beautiful spirit and a way of making everyone feel so speciala wonderful legacy now also expressed in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He had the love thing perfected more than most in this life. He was such a gift to everyone who knew him. I will cherish always the part of his life that he shared with me. He was a one of a kind, wonderful brother whom I will greatly miss.

Dear Bobbi,
It's with great sadness that I write this note. I look back on my junior and senior year at Manchester with such fondness because of our friendship. Watching you meet the love of your life and sharing our deepest thoughts and dreams was a gift. Charlie was a wonderful guy, our class leader, our football hero, our prom king. And with you beside him the perfect couple. Who knew then that you would share fifty five years plus with him? I am so sorry for you loss. May the love of your children and grandchildren carry you through this time of great sorrow.
Love, Mary Lou Liles

Bobbi, What a sad day for everyone. Ruth and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Charlie was a top notch cohort at work who I had selected to follow me but that was not to be. Not only at work but as a human being there were few like him. What a terrible loss. God bless both of you. Ruth and Baxter
