Charles WILLETT Obituary
Terry was a native of Hampton and a resident of Smithfield for 30 years. He was a graduate of York High School class of 1971, and received numerous Certificates of Technical training as a building inspector. He was a self employed building contractor. Later he was a building inspector for Isle of Wight County, Sussex County, King George County, King and Queen County and York County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert James Willett Sr., and is survived by his wife, Althea Patricia "Pat" Pappas Willett; a daughter, Nancy Marie Willett of Smithfield; and a son, Charles Albert Willett of Smithfield; his mother, Mamie Rose Willett of Yorktown; and three brothers, Albert James Willett Jr. and his wife, Diane of Topping, Robert "Bobby" Willett and his wife, Dreama of Grafton, and William Keith Willett and his wife, Debbie of Gloucester.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 7, from 6 to 7 p.m. in Amory Funeral Home, Grafton. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, with the Rev. Clarence Hilling officiating.
