Curtis R. Katschman Sr.

1932 - 2018

Curtis R. Katschman, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. He was born in California, Missouri and was a resident of Carrollton for four months. He retired from General/Continental Tire Company in 1992 after 25 years as a sales representative. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Yorktown and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Curtis was preceded in rest by his first wife, Alice Bryant Katschman; his parents; five brothers; and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Betty Katschman; son, Curtis R. Katschman, Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Scott; extended family, Doug McCall (Pat), Linda Brown (Rick), Sharon Pierce (Ronnie), Connie Asby (Jeff); 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 11:00 to 12:00 pm, Monday, August 27, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church, Yorktown followed by a celebration of Curtis' life at 12:00 pm at the church. Interment with honors rendered by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard at Hampton Memorial Gardens after a luncheon at the church.
