Dalleaner HOLLIMAN Obituary
She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Robert Porter and Dalleaner N. Porter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Holliman; and her son, Curtis Lee Holliman.
She retired as a custodian from Windsor High School and was currently employed part-time as a custodian at Paul D. Camp Community College. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church where she was a trustee, deaconess and a member of the senior choir.
She leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Earl Holliman (Eunice) of Suffolk, Robert Holliman (Connie) and Ray Holliman both of Windsor and Frankie Holliman (Darlene) of Hampton; one sister, Loretta Lankford (Melvin) of Windsor; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; special niece, Vernice Rodgers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held noon Saturday, March 20, 2010, in Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Lyttle officiating. Interment will be in Tyler Cemetery in Windsor.
