Kathy and family,
Nathan was one of my favorite players at Newport News H.S. He always gave his best and was a great teammate . When I came back to coach W&M, he was one of the first to welcome me home. His loyalty and friendship meant so much to me and I can only hope that he knew that. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Nathan and Kathy, two great classmates of mine. Wonderful people. Kathy and family: there may much sadness now, but there will be many more happy memories that will stay with you forever.
And when it's my turn to get to the Pearly Gates, I know Nathan will be there, holding the door open for me. Much love, Peyton

Cheryl, I wish I was closer to be there for you and your family during this difficult time. Your dad was such a great father and there are so many memories of him and your mom that touched my life. I know how hard it is to watch a parent suffer from Alzheimer’s, I hope you can find comfort in knowing he is in a better place, with a clear mind and being able to be active again.
