Diane Jean Danforth

Diane Jean Danforth, 84, of Gloucester County, died Saturday, September 30, 2023, peacefully surrounded by the love of family members. She was a native of Miami, Florida, and attended Georgia Tech. Parents Edwin Luke Deas, Helen Deas, and her son Patrick Neil Danforth preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Pete Danforth of Gloucester, Paul Danforth (Heather) of Florida, Pamela Rigsby (Stephen) of Fredericksburg, Philip Danforth (JennaLee) of Florida, Patricia Padgett (Nick) of Norfolk, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters in North Carolina, Nancy and Edna Deas. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., followed by a graveside service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Art Wolz. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home.
