Diane Willoughby Fray

1968 - 2022

Diane Willoughby Fray was born Joy Diane Willoughby on May 19, 1968 in Newport News, Va. She went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2022 due to complications from a brain tumor. She was 53. She lived at Rua Nicolau Alaion 33, Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil. She graduated from Denbigh Baptist Christian School in 1986 and from Bob Jones University, Greenville SC four years later. She was preceded in death by her father, John Willoughby and her daughter, Lydia Joy Fray. She is survived by her husband Nathan Fray, her daughter, Priscila Eloise Fray, her mother Eloise Willoughby, her brother, Rodney Willoughby (Nancy) and her sister, Janet Isbell (Ted) and many nephews and nieces. Diane and Lydia are buried side - by-side at Cemiteio da Paz in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Diane served as a missionary in Sao Paulo, Brazil along with her family till the day of her death. Diane was a wonderful wife, kind and loving mother, excellent teacher and exemplary missionary. Above all she lived every day of her life loving the Lord her God with all of her heart, soul and mind and her neighbor as herself. She was ready for eternity. There will be a memorial service at Bethel Baptist Church in Hampton, Va. On June 18th. The visitation will be at 4 pm and the service will be at 5 pm.
