Doris Taylor Obituary
Doris was preceded in death by three brothers, Tunis Taylor Jr."Butch", Paul Taylor, and Ronald Taylor. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Osborne Taylor Sr.; two sons, Osborne Taylor Jr. (Diane), and Jarrett Taylor (Leticia); one daughter, LeShane Lawson (Chris); four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Taylor, Latonya Mason (Clovis), and Pamela Smith (Alvin); and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved so dearly.
Mrs. Taylor may be viewed from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020, in the funeral home. Face masks and social distancing will be required. A livestream service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday. I can't think of the words to say. You were always so kind to my sister and me. You were never negative and always had a smile on your face and a hug. You were present when my grandma passed and there all those times when we hung out with Leshane. Rest in beautiful Peace

Doris and I, were the best of friends during our early grade schools years in Chickahominy. We were the same age and loved doing similar things. My family moved to Newark, N.J. in the early fifties, and I did not see Doris again until 2018. She was a very beautiful young lady, and her personality was humble and sincere. Thank God we crossed paths on our journey. Praying for her to be accepted into Paradise. Condolences to her family and friends, may God comfort you and bring peace to you all.
