Starr and family
My mom has moved, does not take the paper and her phone is still out of order from the storm. I have just called her and told her about Mr. Belvin. She was shocked and felt horrible as she would have wanted to go to the funeral today.
She said for me to tell you that "I always saw Sonny in the grocery store and we had the best visits together there. He was such a devoted son to Mrs Belvin when I was nursing her."
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Knowing Sonny for just a day felt like you had a friend for life. Only warm thoughts and smiles come when thinking of Sonny. Our thoughts are with you all on these heaviest of days.

Starr & Family,
We have you and your family in our prayers. Sonny was a special person with a smile that would light up a room. We will miss seeing him on Friday nights and sharing stories over a glass of wine.
He will be missed by so many people.

Very sorry to hear the news about Stan. I enjoyed every talk with him and appreciate his good work for the children of our county. I will miss seeing him as will many, many others.

Starr and Children,
My heart is so heavy, I cannot imagine how you feel. I will always remember Stan as a kind and loving person. He was always special to my boys, Chip and Keith, always giving them encouragement. When Chip called me the other night to tell me, he said that he wanted to be the type of father that Stan was to his children. I can think of no higher compliment to give a person. My love is with you all.

Sonny would not want us to be sad - he knows that we will miss him, but he'd want us to be happy for him that he gets to be with folks he loves that had gone on before him. His parents, my Mom, Big John, and so many others have been waiting for him to join them. They're all together, enjoying being together forever, having a laugh about old times, and keeping busy watching over those of us still here on earth. If you knew and loved Sonny, and you miss him, take comfort in knowing that you've now got yourself the best guardian angel anyone could ever hope for.
