George Drummond Obituary

George Walter Drummond, Jr., 81, of Gwynn's Island, Virginia passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Findlay College. He served for thirty years in law enforcement as a Chief Parole Officer for the State of Virginia. George loved sailing and playing golf in his spare time. He is survived by his two sons, Christopher Drummond and Robert Drummond; a granddaughter, Amiee Drummond; and Viola Bazzell, his significant other for forty-five years. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family.

George & I became friends both in school & church & had lots of good times together, like riding his horse! Then we shared a trip to Florida in 1965 as good friends! He was a kind, caring friend always!!
