May God strengthen and keep you through this difficult time. Gilbert was an inspiration to those who met him. Our family was fortunate to know him as a student, teacher and co-worker. He never met a stranger. May your fond memories be a source of comfort in the days ahead.

I am writing to the family of Gilbert Jones, a wonderful teacher . My son Mitchell, was lucky enough to have Mr. Jones as a 6th grade science teacher at King & Queen Elementary School. He was a patient and kind man to all who knew him. This is a great loss to all, and an unfortunate loss to those who were not blessed with knowing him. I express my condolences to his family and friends. Mr. Gilbert Jones will be missed.
Sincerely,
Jackie Baker

To Gilbert Jr., Sesly and Whitley:
God saw your father was getting tired and the race was being hard to run, So he gently closed his eyes so peacefully on that glorious Saturday Morn. The Angels are rejoicing while you cry tears of sorrow. Someday, maybe not now, you will come to understand our God's true Master Plan.
