Please except heartfelt condolences from the Thornton family. Your family will be in our prayers. On a personal note, when communicating with Hazelle years ago in Richmond, she was the same caring person I recalled from the days of my youth. Do not grieve in excess, but celebrate a life well lived. God Bless.

Words cannot express how shocked we are to learn of Hazelle's passing. She loved life, her friends, and especially her family. Nothing brought her more joy than her dear Brooke. We will cherish the memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

My heart is broken. I am glad to hear she went peacefully in her sleep. She is in a wonderful place with her sweet Mother. Lean on each other and know God has Hazelle by his side and she is happy. Stay strong and know God will heal that huge hole in your heart and replace it with the joyful memories of all the years you had with her.
Sorrowly Submitted
Love,
Marcella (Hudgins) Johnson
