I sure do miss you. It has now been a year since you left us. Your loving wife has now joined you. I feel you are looking over all of us. I took a trip recently to WV and visited the old family cemetery ---visited Mom, Dad, brother Billy Ray, Grandparents, Great grandparents, Great-Great Grandparents. It brought back such sweet memories of our childhood days.

Just gotta tell you and Mom that yesterday, Junior walked by my picture of you two and he stopped, straightened it up and then gave y'all a hug. Mckenzie tells me she misses you every time she comes over and wishes you and Momaw "would come back home from Heaven". Miss you Pop and love you.

Can't believe its been almost 4 weeks since you left us. Seems like time stopped for us that day, but at the same time,the sun still rises and sets each and every day. I always thought you would be here forever even though I know you can't to stop the Great Circle of Life. I know its selfest of me to want you back, because now you are in no pain and your're whole again. Your're reunited with your mom,dad and brothers, especially Joe,and everyone else that passed before you, but I can't help it. I expect to see you in your room when I go over,to hear you say "you tell me" when I ask you whats going on. You have left such a void in all our hearts. I don't think you really know just how much you meant to everyone and how much we all love you. Gonna say goodnite for now. I love you Dad

My heart was sadden when I heard about Mr. Goodman's passing. When I look back on the countless hours hanging out with Kim at her house I remember Mr Goodman ALWAYS making me feel like I was family. Always happy and smiling. How lucky was that family :) to have their dad work for Pet Dairy! Even to this day if I see a Pet Dairy truck it puts a smile of my face because I think of Mr. Goodman.
I wish instead of sending a letter to Mr & Mrs. Goodman a year ago to thank them for having such a big impact on my life and for making me feel like family I wish now I would have taken the time to go and personally tell them.
To the entire family...please know you are in my thoughts and if I can do anything to help I am here.

Pet popsicles on a summer day, a childhood memory I have always treasured. This was a kind, generous man who worked hard and dedicated his life to his family. I don't recall a time I was visiting that he didn't have a kind word and a smile. Peace be with the family during this very difficult time.
