CAPTAIN JACK

We've all called him many things, I'm sure this fact is true

How will we fill the void he's left,

we haven't got a clue.

He'd use his intellect and wit, to work most any crowd

I think that we would all agree he lived life loud and proud

We women loved his gift of flirt, oh with our hearts he'd toy,

as for his Buds, I know they'd say he's just a "good ole boy"

The first one to the party, the last one off to bed

you knew that you could count on him and Johnny Walker Red

Oh he could be opinionated and sometimes make a fuss

And dare you ever sailed with him, you've surely heard him cuss.

He never met a stranger on that you could depend

he'd seek you out and make you feel you always had fit in

What you saw, is what you got, to him each day was new

One thing we will never doubt, his friendship was true blue!

Our Captain Jack has sailed off to a place that we can't see

A place where he can sail all day; so peacefully and free

Lord wrap your arms around him, where we wish ours could be

Help us trust your unknown plan and release our grief to Thee

Bless us with your gift of love, let our imbalance calm

Let us believe we're one with you and accept thy will's been done

All this in mind we must move on, for that would be Jack's wish,

and though he wouldn't say so,

I know he's glad he's missed

And though we know no other could ever fill his space

Let's finish how he'd want it,

AND PARTY AT HIS PLACE!!

Was terribly saddened to hear of the demise of Jack W. Parrent, Jr. We met only several years ago at the offices of JJMA,INC. and became immediate friends. I thoroughly enjoyed our noon-hour lunches at the various eateries in the area while listening to the accomplishments of his twin daughters, Jessica and Paige. No two girls could ever have had a father who loved them more or was more proud of them. Rest in peace, dear friend.

SO SAD TO READ IN THE NEWS TODAY THAT JACK HAS PASSED ON. HE WAS A FRIEND OF MANY YEARS AGO IN THE DESIGN SECTION OF NNSDDCO. THE LORD WILL BLESS AND KEEP HIM AND COMFORT HIS FAMILY IN THIS TIME OF STRESS.
