James Davidson Obituary
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee "Flea" Davidson, mother, Mary Alice Finney, brother Arthur "Buzz" Davidson, and grandson, Colton Tsigaridas. He leaves behind his children to cherish his memory, Robert Davidson (Linda), Kelley Tsigaridas (George), Shawn O'Connor, Jason Davidson (Robin), James Davidson (Kelly), and Erin McNaughton (Jeff).
Jim dearly loved his 15 grandchildren and was a friend to all. He graduated from Warwick High School, was a US Army Veteran, owned the Eastern Warehouse Tire Co., worked at the Newport News Shipyard, Naval Weapons Station, Patrick Henry Inn, and Eastern State Hospital.
To honor his life well lived, the family is holding a visitation at Peninsula Funeral Home on Monday, December 19, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 20 at 2:00 p.m. with interment following at Peninsula Memorial Park. Jimmy and I were close friends throughout our childhood and through Warwick High. He saved me from drowning when I was 16 and I owe the rest of my life to him. We went separate ways as an adult, but I will always treasure him as a friend.
