Joycelyn NEWBY Obituary
She is survived by a daughter, Janievive Newby; two sons, Ray Arnold Newby and Roger Antonio Newby (Terrica); five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, DuBois Savedge; and an aunt, Lois Gwaltney Gray. Funeral Service will be held at noon Sat. Nov. 28 2009, at Cypress Baptist Church, with viewing one hour prior to the funeral, at the church. A viewing will be from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, at Pretlow & Chapman Funeral Home, Smithfield. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

Your NJ cousins are so sorry about the passing of Aunt Joyce. We will always remember the great 'family reunions' and overall good times we had in the past. We always laugh when we think of her referring to young Eric as "Eat". We will miss her so much but greatful for the wonderful memories. Although we can not be there we know that God will sustain our family through this difficult time. We love you all!
