Juniour WHITBY Obituary

YORKTOWN - Juniour Edward "Budman" Whitby was called to eternal rest on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, in Mary Immaculate Hospital. He was born on Nov. 10, 1930.
He retired from Yorktown Naval Weapons Station, after 35 years of service. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife of 56 years, Louise Whitby; his children, Leontine Brown (Bobby), Edward Whitby, Novella Whitby, Alton Whitby (Wanda W.), Chauncey Whitby (Wanda C.), Richard Whitby and Tracy Parker (Kelvin); his sisters, Rosa L, Carter (Henry), Esther Christian and Margaret Thompson; his brother, Romeo Whitby; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, in Shiloh Baptist Church, Yorktown, with the Rev. Robert Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery, Williamsburg. Family and friends will assemble at 409 Goosley Road by noon on Saturday. Mr. Whitby may be viewed from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.
