Larry ANDREWS Obituary
Larry Jr. was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard 'Ratman' Ransome Jr., and grandmother, Thelma Staggards.
Left to cherish his memories is his son, Brennon Andrews; mother, Teresa Andrews; father, Larry Andrews Sr.; two sisters, Leretha S. Pigott (Hurley), Deirdre Smith (Dequan); four brothers, Loren Ransome, Donnell Andrews, Karlos Andrews, and Eldon Andrews; his best friend and brother, Tommy Ray Jr.; grandmother, Sally Ransome; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Denbigh Presbyterian Church, 302 Denbigh Blvd., Newport News, Va., Pastor Deborah Dial officiating. Larry's viewing will take place at the church on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the service hour.

LB thank you for always being a friend and a standup person in all ways that I know I could count on. It’s amazing how growing up with you and my path took me out of NN most of my adult life, but yet you were someone I looked up to and continued to draw strength from. Awwww man Larry B....I haven't seen you since the days we used to all run around woodview. When I heard about this terrible tragedy my heart broke into a million pieces. It's never a good thing hearing that a childhood friend passed away but it's even harder knowing that your passing was due to something senseless. I pray that God is with your family and that He helps them find comfort and healing during this difficult time. Rest In Peace LB! Gone but never will you be forgotten...

Senseless violence captures the life of our beloved! I haven't kept in contact with LB since we were in school but even with that I'll never forget his beautiful heart and spirit. Nor will I forget how he always wore a smile on his face. So now when it feels difficult to understand this tragedy, know that nothing catches God by surprise and his mission here on earth was complete. Remember how he lived and the example he set for his son. To be absent from the body is to be present with God! Loved,Gone, and Dearly Missed... but he will NOT be forgotten. Words cannot express the many feelings of hurt that I feel right now. No matter what we may have been thru u have always been the best father u could b to our son. U may not be with us in the flesh, but ur spirit will forever live on in our son. Its hard not to think of u everyday with me having to look at ur twin everyday. I re-connected with you out Jefferson East last year briefly and saw you in passing driving in Denbigh. I didn't know that those would be my last times seeing you. Man I can go back to the Cypress/Patrick Village/Ladds days when you used to come around and we would all link up on the bikes to do the "hell tracks" hills in the trailer parks.
