Linda Britt Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Linda Lee Britt died suddenly in her Williamsburg home on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009. She was born May 5, 1952 in Surry County, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard L. Britt and Jo Breeding Britt. Linda was a member of Walnut Hills Baptist Church in Williamsburg. She worked over 25 years in geriatrics and enjoyed working with the elderly.
Linda is survived by two sisters, Helen Van Cleef Petty of Manteo, N.C., and Lori Britt Kilroy of Lexington, Va.; two brothers, Wayne Johnson Britt of Lanexa, Va., and Douglas Andrew Britt of Toano, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Walnut Hills Baptist Church, 1014 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor, Va. Please reassemble by 3:15 p.m. at the cemetery. How saddened we were to learn of Linda's passing. She was a special soul who cared deeply for her family. She delighted in telling about the sucesses of her nieces and nephews.
