Marion O'DELL Obituary
Born in Manassas, Va., she was a Newport News resident since 1962. She was a member of Menchville Baptist Church and a former charter member of Warwick Baptist Church. She was active in Baptist Women's Missionary Work & served as Peninsula's WMU President for several years. She taught adult and children's Sunday School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Pearl Weber; husband, Kenneth O'Dell of 57 years; two brothers, Frederick and Walton Weber; two sisters, Gloria Houlk and Mary Yeida.
She is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Clark and husband, Murphy, of Zachary, La., and Lori Morgan and husband, Joe, of Seaford, Va.; five grandchildren, Kenneth and Roger Clark, Kevin, Matthew and Katie Morgan; and one great-grandchild, Braden Clark; six brothers, Walter, T. Calvin, Earl, Harold, Max and Harry Weber; and two sisters, Maxine Purcell and Virginia Kraner.
The family will receive friends at Weymouth Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and at Menchville Baptist Church, Sunday, Oct. 3, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a funeral to begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Hampton Veterans Memorial Gardens.

I will miss your Mom. I remember all the great times we had at your house. She always smiled! She was always encouraging young people. She truly cared about people. Your mom was a great example of a Godly women. I will be praying that God strengthens you and your families in the days ahead.
